Rahm holds his fifth career 36-hole lead/co-lead on PGA Tour; 0-for-4 to date converting to victory, with a T3 at the 2016 Quicken Loans National as his best finish (forced to WD from the 2021 Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide after 54 holes).

He recorded 12 birdies against zero bogeys through 36 holes to become the 13th player to play the first 36 holes of a FedExCup Playoffs event without a bogey.

He has one career win on the PGA Tour (2016 Puerto Rico Open) while amassing eight runner-up finishes, including two during the 2020-21 season (Farmers Insurance Open, The Genesis Invitational); making his 143rd start since the win in Puerto Rico.

He entered the week with seven top-10 finishes this season, but none in his last seven starts dating back to a T8 at the PGA Championship in May.

Finau has one top-10 finish in six career starts at THE NORTHERN TRUST, finishing runner-up to Bryson DeChambeau at the 2018 event (Ridgewood C.C.).
