SSP Chawrasia owes a lot to the Delhi Golf Club for giving flight to his dreams.

The Delhi Golf Club (DGC) has been a springboard to learning for SSP Chawrasia.

It all started with heartbreak, losing the 2006 Indian Open in a playoff. SSP terms that outing on the Lodhi Course a big part of the learning curve as it set him up for his ensuing successes.

First up, was the breakthrough on the DP World Tour in 2008, for which again SSP is thankful to DGC for according him the chance to chase on his dreams on a much bigger stage.

Then of course, the wins in 2014 and 2016, which deepened his bond with this hallowed turf.

With these triumphs and many more strong results behind him, SSP tees off at The DGC Open as the most feted Indian golfer at this venue.

A fourth win could well be round the corner on Sunday but SSP chose to be politically correct by refusing to comment.
