SPNI will add two new channels to the TEN Sports bouquet

There was a bad news for sports broadcast industry last month. The Walt Disney Company had announced to shut five sports channels in India. In precisely four weeks’ time there is good news. Sony Pictures Network India will add two more channels to its sports bouquet.

The leading Indian broadcaster, SPNI is in the process of launching TEN4 and TEN4 HD. The TEN Sports network from Zee in 2016, TEN have been Sony’s prime screens for sports offerings.

The TEN4 SD and TEN4 pay channels will cost the viewers ₹ 17 and ₹ 19 respectively per month.

With the new launch in mind, expectedly from June 1, 2021, the broadcaster has also revised the price of its bouquet and open offerings. The revised prices will be effective only for sports channels.

Its sports channels like Sony Six are now priced at Rs 19, which was earlier priced at Rs 15. Similarly, the TEN 2 and TEN 3 will be available for Rs 19. Both the channels were earlier priced at Rs 15 and Rs 17 respectively. TEN 2 and TEN 3 HD channels are now priced at Rs 19.

The network has also revised the MRP of a bouquet of pay channels and added two more new packs and now offers a total of 31 different Happy India Packs to its audience.

Meanwhile, Sony Sports is going to be the most happening place for football lovers from June 11. The Copa America 2021 and the Uefa Euro 2020 will bring 30 action-packed football knight on Sony.

The high octane football action will broadcast LIVE on Sony TEN 2 in English, Sony TEN3 in Hindi. Sony SIX will broadcast regional language – Bengali and Malayalam – feed of the European and CONMEBOL championships.
